Returns & Exchanges Policy

Here at BatteryDepot.com, we stand behind our products and customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our simple Returns and Exchanges Policy below.

30-Day Guarantee

We guarantee our standard products for 30 days after purchase. During those 30 days, if you wish to return or exchange the product you may ship it back. 

  • All return packages must be received within 30 days of the date your order shipped.
  • Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method.
  • Shipping is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.
  • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days of package receipt.
  • Any product not purchased from batterydepot.com is not eligible for return. Shipping costs to send package back to you will be at your expense.
  • Any product sent back after 30 days is subject to a restocking fee, which is a minimum of 20% of the cost of the battery.

6-Month Warranty

If the battery purchased is no longer functioning during the 6 months after purchase the battery must be mailed back. Please reference instructions below for How to Return or Exchange an Item. When we are in receipt of the package, a replacement battery will be sent.

  • Extreme external damage is not covered.
  • One time use (non-rechargeable) batteries are not eligible for exchange.
  • Even exchanges only. The battery cannot be exchanged for a different item than what was ordered.

If the Battery Arrived and is Incorrect

Does the battery received match the item number on the invoice?

  • If YES the battery is a match, but does not fit, the wrong item may have been ordered. We would be more than happy to help you find the correct item that you do need. What is the original battery model number you were trying to replace? Please email us with the model number from the original battery to help us locate what battery is needed. The batterydepot.com battery will have to be mailed back to returns at your expense. When we receive the return we can send out the correct battery needed. Any product not purchased from batterydepot.com is not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your expense. Please reference instructions below for How to Return or Exchange an Item. 
  • If NO the battery does not match what was ordered, we apologize for the mistake. Please reference instructions below for How to Return or Exchange an Item to start a return request within 30 days with your invoice number, reason for exchange and the quantity of the items to be exchanged. We can send you the correct battery along with pre-paid postage to return the incorrect item.

If The Product Arrived Defective or Damaged

Did you install the battery and nothing happened? When you first receive a rechargeable battery, allow the battery to charge overnight 8-12 hours before use. If the battery is still not responding after that time, the battery may be exchanged within the 30 day guarantee. Please reference instructions below for How to Return or Exchange an Item.

If Your Device is No Longer Working or You Have Changed Your Mind

If you received the battery and have discovered your device is no longer working, you can return the battery within 30 days for a refund. We will refund you for the cost of the item. The shipping cost is not refundable.

  • You will be responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise.
  • Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method.
  • Shipping is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.

If you have an account, Please login to create a return request.

If you don't have an account:

  1. Click here to start a return request.
  2. If the request is approved, package the item securely. Enclose your return number inside the package as well as all original packaging and accessories.
  3. Address your package to:

  4. Drop the package off at the respective carrier.

If your order was purchased through one of our seller partners, like Amazon, please fill out the return forms from that same webpage. If you have any questions regarding those purchases please contact us at MarketplaceOrders@batterydepot.com and reference your order number in the email. 

How Long Do Returns Take to Process?

Return processing time depends on where the package is sent from, but generally it takes 10 to 15 business days.
